On January 1, 2024, an earthquake in Ishikawa Prefecture caused our cherished takazawa candle store, dating back to the Meiji era, to collapse.
While our factory and offices are fortunately intact, the scattered state and ongoing water shortages make resuming operations challenging for the foreseeable future.

We regretfully decided to withdraw from the planned exhibition at Maison et Objet in France.
We express our gratitude to Jean-Luc Colonna and everyone who supported us, including those at What’s new! We apologize for this situation and appreciate your understanding.

Now, our focus is on rebuilding.
