One month has passed since the earthquake.

We deeply appreciate the warm messages of encouragement received from many people.

We, Takazawa Candle, are gradually moving toward restarting our business.
Takazawa Candles’ important store was destroyed, but the factory and office buildings are safe.

Although the water supply is still cut off in Nanao City, all the employees who were able to go to work cleaned up the factory, adjusted the working machines, inspected the furnace for melting wax, inspected the gas, repaired the piping, and lit the furnace for melting wax for the first time in a long time.

And for the first time since the earthquake, we were able to make Japanese candles.

Step by step, we are determined to move forward.

私たち高澤ろうそくは少しずつ再始動へむけて動き出しています。
高澤ろうそくの大切な店舗は倒壊してしまいましたが、工場や事業所の建物は無事でした。

未だ断水が続く七尾市ですが、出勤することができる社員の皆さんで、工場内の片付けをして、作業機械の調整、ロウを溶かすかまどの検査、ガスの検査、配管の修理など終え、久しぶりにロウを溶かす釜に火を入れました。

そして、地震のあと、初めて、和ろうそくを作ることができました。

一歩一歩ですが、前進していきたいと思っています。
